Market Insight: Mixed CO2 results for top brands

Mixed bag: Nissan’s new NP300 Navara has brought improved emissions, helping the brand reduce its CO2 average, but the big, broad ute range also plays a role in keeping the overall figure higher than some other top brands.

- Nissan has emerged as the brand to have reduced its average CO2 emissions in Australia last year more than any of the 15 top-selling car companies operating here .

- Ford’s CO2 output was at the other end of the spectrum, climbing 2.5 per cent.
