News - LexusLexus introduces new EncoreFirst paid-for Encore benefits program offered to all existing Lexus owners26 Mar 2024 By PHILIP LORD LEXUS has rolled out a version of its Encore customer perks program to all owners of Australian-delivered Lexus vehicles dating back to 1990, opening up the package of around 150,000 of the brand’s models on the nation’s roads.
Building on the existing Encore programme that has for some time been bundled with the purchase of a new Lexus, the new Encore Elevate product is a $1899 annual paid subscription program.
It provides members with the use of two new Lexus models for up to five days a year each, as well as access to valet parking and airport lounges.
The Encore Elevate opens up access to what the company calls ‘Lexus on Demand’, provisinf access to a fleet of up to 60 of its L-series models (LS limo, LC sportscar, LX off-roader and LM people mover) or BEVs (UX300e small SUV and RZ medium SUV) throughout Australia and New Zealand.
Members can access Lexus on Demand vehicles twice a year, for up to five days at a time, which alone out at about $190 per day if used to its full potential, or which is roughly the cost of renting a Camry hybrid.
Also included as part of the Encore Elevate program is valet parking at selected shopping centres nationally four times a year. Two passes to more than 800 premium airline lounges globally round out the deal.
The Encore Elevate program is the first Lexus benefits program that owners have to pay for but new Lexus buyers still get a complimentary three-year Encore membership with LBX, UX, NX, RX and ES models.
New L-series models come with a three-year Encore Platinum membership, while a version called Encore Platinum Electrified comes with new UX300e and RZ purchases, also limited to three years.
A one-year Encore membership comes with for Lexus Certified Pre-Owned vehicles.
Encore Elevate is open to owners of any Lexus, whether purchased new (or used if it is not a used import) – first sold by a Lexus dealer in Australia anytime between 1990 and now.
Lexus first sold cars here with the LS400, 34 years ago, and has an existing Australian car parc of about 150,000 vehicles. |
