News - Lexus - IS - IS250 sedan rangeLexus recalls IS and GSLexus recalls new IS and GS models following a passenger seatbelt fault21 Apr 2006 By TERRY MARTIN TOYOTA’S prestige brand Lexus has recalled around 57,000 vehicles worldwide, including 1115 in Australia and 200 in New Zealand, to fix a faulty seatbelt part in its GS300, GS430 and IS250 models. The vehicles were produced between July last year and January 2006. The company said last week that no accidents had been reported because of the defect. However, passengers may not be able to buckle up. The recall also affects cars sold in North America (29,000), Japan (11,000) and Europe (10,000). |
