Finch Restorations to represent Electrogenic in Oz

ACCLAIMED South Australian vehicle restoration firm Finch Restorations will now represent electric vehicle specialists Electrogenic UK Down Under, offering the owners of classic cars the opportunity to convert to electric power.

The duo says the partnership brings Electrogenic’s revolutionary electric vehicle conversion kits to Australian classic car enthusiasts, while at the same time marking a sustainable means of providing “modern performance with timeless aesthetics”.

“This partnership marks a significant milestone in sustainable automotive solutions, marrying Finch Restoration’s six decades of heritage in vehicle preservation and restoration with Electrogenics cutting-edge EV technology.

Electrogenic says its drop-in electric vehicle conversion kits are designed to integrate seamlessly with each vehicle, each adhering to a “do no harm” philosophy that means the conversions are 100 per cent reversible with each designed to fit a car’s “existing space envelopes and driveline mounts”.

This method allows vehicle owners to preserve their classic car’s original drivelines, offering the flexibility to revert to the original specifications if so desired, thus protecting the vehicle’s heritage and value.

In collaborating with Finch Restorations, Electrogenic UK brings to the table an extensive background in sensitive upgrades, 3D scanning and design, and “innovative” driveline technology, all fitted in-house by Finch Restoration’s highly skilled technicians, ensuring what it says are the “highest standards of quality and safety”.

Currently there are nine vehicle kits and a total of 16 conversion variants available for models including the Jaguar E-Type, Land Rover Defender, Morris Mini, Porsche 911 (G-body), and Triumph Stag. Bespoke conversion options are also available.
