News - Alfa RomeoNew global boss for Alfa Romeo, MaseratiBigland takes charge of Alfa, Maserati but Wester remains FCA chief tech officer27 May 2016 By TERRY MARTIN - Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) chief executive Sergio Marchionne has restructured the management team in charge of Alfa Romeo and Maserati, with sales executive Reid Bigland brought in to replace Harald Wester as head of the two Italian prestige brands. - One of the key leaders of the Italian-American auto giant, Mr Wester continues in the role of FCA’s chief technology officer – a position he has held since joining Fiat Group Automobiles in 2004 – but now relinquishes responsibility for the brands he has managed since Mr Marchionne brought them together in 2010.
