New models - Peugeot - 207 - Touring OutdoorPeugeot steps Outdoor with 207 TouringSpecial-edition version of Peugeot’s 207 Touring arrives in Outdoor shape19 Jan 2010 PEUGEOT has released a special-edition iteration of its 207 Touring, dubbed the Outdoor. Limited to just 150 units for Australia, the 207 Outdoor wagon features a number of off-road-inspired additions over the model it effectively replaces, but continues with the same $30,490 (petrol) and $31,490 (diesel) pricetags. Specific Outdoor upgrades include dual-zone climate-control, partial leather/sports cloth trim (in either black or Chocolate brown), new 16x6.5-inch alloy wheels with larger 205/55-section tyres, cruise control and speed limiter, and black wheel-arch, bumper and sill extensions. Mechanically, to compensate for the higher ride height, which has been increased by 16mm up front and 21mm at the rear, Peugeot has fitted a revised rear suspension torsion beam and recalibrated the electric power steering system. The 207 Touring Outdoor comes with the same upgrades applied to the rest of the facelifted 207 range, including revised front-end styling and more luxurious cabin, but also gains a dashboard and centre console with ‘Grinium chaud’ finish. As with the previous 207 Touring wagon, the Outdoor comes standard with six airbags, a split tailgate, panoramic glass roof with electric sunblind, 60/40-split flat-folding rear seats, automatic headlights and wipers, and polished aluminium roof-rails.
