Pricing for the newcomer will be announced at its launch on March 1. The Japanese car-maker says the updated Accord is smoother, quieter and more refined than the outgoing model. In addition, it gains sharper styling, more equipment and added safety features across the range. The biggest changes lie under the skin where new anti-noise and vibration measures include improved insulation, liquid-filled engine mounts and better door and window seals. Refinement levels also benefit from a revised air intake and a driveshaft dynamic damper. Visually, the revised Accord stands apart from its forebear through its more aggressive face, which is distinguished by a re-profiled bumper, grille and bonnet. The tail-lights and rear bumper have also been updated and there are new alloy wheels across the range. Standard equipment levels are boosted by leather upholstery and Honda's Intelligent SRS airbag system (i-SRS). Meanwhile, Honda is offering special runout deals on current Accords. For a limited time, Howe leather trim is available at no extra cost on Accord VTi-L and V6. The deal - valued at $4000 - includes free Honda VTEC golf clubs.
