New models - Dodge - Nitro - SX-R LEDodge Nitro SX-R adds luxury gear at no extra costLimited-run Dodge Nitro SX-R gets leather and sat-nav for same price as base model23 Mar 2009 DODGE has released a limited-edition Nitro to keep sales of the boldly designed four-wheel drive bubbling. The Nitro SX-R comes with a range of interior upgrades for the same price as the regular SX entry-level model. The limited run of 100 vehicles will feature dark monotone leather trim with French seam stitching and an embroidered Dodge emblem on the front seat headrests. All SX-R Nitros also get a 20-gigabyte MyGIG information and entertainment system that includes satellite navigation, DVD, MP3, CD player and MP3 connection. Songs and images can also be stored on the MyGIG hard drive. Except for special SX-R badging, the exterior of the SX-R models is no different to the regular models, which already run 20-inch alloy wheels. The SX-R is available with a 3.7-litre V6 and four-speed automatic for $39,990, and with a 2.8-litre diesel with five-speed automatic for $43,990.
