New models - Alfa Romeo - 4C - Spider 33 Stradale TributoAlfa Romeo 4C 33 Stradale Tributo priced from $123KAn extra $34k nets Alfa Romeo 4C fans some bespoke touches on 33 Stradale Tributo30 Jul 2021 ALFA Romeo has revealed the local pricing and specification details of its super-exclusive 4C 33 Stradale Tributo sportscar, of which just 15 units will be making it to Aussie shores.
Comprising 10 coupes and five spiders, the 4C 33 Stradale Tributos are priced a hefty $34,000 upstream of their standard counterparts at $123,000 and $133,000 before on-road costs respectively.
Due to arrive in local dealerships any day now, the Australian allocation accounts for almost half of the 33-unit global production run, which was conceived as a homage piece to the fabled 33 Stradale supercar of 1967.
Finished in an exclusive ‘Rosso Villa d’Este’ tri-coat exterior colour scheme and rolling on a unique set of staggered grey-gold alloy wheels (18-inch front, 19-inch rear), the Stradale Tributo has been fitted with a bi-modal titanium exhaust system courtesy of Akrapovic to help liberate a few extra decibels from the turbocharged 1.75-litre four-cylinder engine.
Despite the new system, power and torque have remained steady at 177kW/350Nm, all of which is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Performance therefore goes unchanged as well with 0-97km/h (0-60mph) dealt with in a claimed 4.1 seconds, while the top speed is 257km/h.
In addition to the bespoke paint and wheel combination, the special edition 4C is also adorned with carbon-fibre accents while the coupe also scores a carbon roof and spiders feature carbon roll bars.
Inside the cabin is a two-tone black and tan colour scheme, a stitched leather upper dashboard and ‘33 Stradale Tributo’ dashboard insert.
According to Alfa Romeo Australia marketing and communications director Tom Noble, the 4C represents a culmination of the brand’s “Italian style and technical performance”.
“This is a tribute to an icon and we’re thrilled to be able to provide Australian enthusiasts with an opportunity to own a piece of history with the Alfa Romeo 4C 33 Stradale Tributo,” he said.
Alfa sold 304 cars across the first six month of 2021, marking a 6.3 per cent improvement on the 286 units it shifted over the same period last year.
Of those 304 vehicles, six of them were 4Cs.
