Future models - Mitsubishi - ASX - Geolook conceptGeneva show: Mitsubishi tricks out Triton and ASXMitsubishi gives off-road styling tweaks to ASX SUV and Triton ute25 Feb 2016 MITSUBISHI has revealed beefed-up versions of its Triton pick-up and ASX compact SUV, with added exterior and interior styling flair, ahead of their official debut at next month's Geneva motor show. Dubbed the Geoseek concepts, the Japanese car-maker says the duo boasts two-tone styling and “tough-look” accessories that give them more of an outdoor, adventurous feel. The exterior is where the changes are the most apparent – both versions of the Geoseek concept use a solid-tone pearl-grey body finish, while the accessories and additional bodykit are accented in orange. Highlighted accessories include foglight bezels, wheel arches, alloy wheel rims, side garnish, a tailgate spoiler, rear bumper and door mirrors. The front fascia also gets a mesh inner grill and a skid plate placed underneath the bumper, while both models are fitted with a roof basket to enhance the vehicle's outdoor appeal. The Triton also comes with working lights and hand holds that are fitted to the roof rails, while the ASX employs LED foglights. Meanwhile the interior employs the same bright orange accenting over a mostly black trim, with the seats getting mesh fabric centre panels and suede-like fabric for the side bolsters. Mitsubishi Australia head of corporate communications Shayna Welsh said that the car-maker will monitor the interest in the Geolook duo at Geneva to determine whether to bring them to market. “At this stage, we have no concrete plans to market these models in Australia, however, our parent company will gauge public feedback at Geneva and may decide to include these in a future line-up,” she said.
