2014 Delhi Motor Show

Organisers of the Delhi auto expo claim the biennial automotive extravaganza is the largest in Asia and the second biggest globally and with the South Asian nation's car industry booming, we have no reason to doubt it.

While Indian brand Tata continues its global expansion plans, more and more car-makers are designing and engineering vehicles for the emerging market, including Ford Australia, which engineered the Figo light car for India.

At the Delhi show in 2012, Ford held the world premiere for its EcoSport mini SUV, while Suzuki showed off its India-only XA Alpha crossover concept.
