2015 Chicago Auto ShowNorth America's longest running motor show gears up again in Chicago17 Nov 2014 By TUNG NGUYEN in CHICAGO Show Dates: 12 February 2015 - 22 February 2015 24/02/2015Although this year's Chicago motor show was light on big reveals, the cars that were in attendance were more than enough to impress show goers. The biggest surprise this year was the public debut of Nissan's new GT-R LM NISMO, first glimpsed during the Japanese car-maker's Super Bowl ad, a front-wheel drive World Endurance Championship contender. Also shown alongside the Le Mans racer was the 370Z NISMO Roadster, a drop-top concept of the fixed roof, track-focused 370Z NISMO. Kia showed off its Trail'ster concept, a new all-electric four-wheel drive SUV from the Korean manufacturer, while Mazda was on hand to reveal powertrain and accessory details of its hotly anticipated next-generation MX-5. As excepted, many of the Detroit motor show cars also made an appearance in Chicago, including the Alfa Romeo 4C Spider, Hyundai Santa Cruz Crossover Truck Concept and the Ford GT – now finished in a stunning silver colour. With Chicago wrapped up, all eyes are now turning to Geneva as the next big motor show. 10/02/2015 With only days to go before the Chicago Auto Show kicks off, news has been slow to come in but is expected to ramp up very soon. Kia has been teasing a new all-wheel drive electric vehicle which will debut in Chicago, called the Trail'ster concept, after unveiling a similar Track'ster concept in 2011. Also expected to be in attendance are the showstealing cars of Detroit including the Ford GT, the Acura/Honda NSX and the Chevrolet Bolt.
