Honda’s next-generation people-mover arrived in early 2014, complete with sliding doors unlike its predecessor.
Now in its fifth-generation, the Honda Odyssey came packed with either eight-seats in the base variant or could be had with a rear pair of reclining luxury seats in VTi-L form.
Standard equipment included 17-inch alloy wheels, dusk-sensing headlights, a new touchscreen interface, Bluetooth, front and rear-seat climate control, leather-trimmed steering wheel and cruise control.
The Honda Odyssey came powered with a 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine, making 129kW of power and 255Nm of torque, coupled with continuously variable transmission, and returned fuel economy figures as low as 7.6-Litres per 100 kilometres.
