First look: Mitsu reveals Eclipse cab, hybrid concept

MITSUBISHI will reveal two new world-first vehicles at the Detroit auto show in January – the 2007 Eclipse Spyder 2+2 cabriolet and the Concept-CT.

The latter will showcase the Japanese manufacturer’s latest design work for a small hatch and will also include a hybrid powertrain combining a petrol engine with the company’s in-wheel motor electronic vehicle (MIEV) technology that was first shown at the Tokyo motor show in October.
