Future models - Mazda - Mazda3Sprung: Mazda’s all-new 3 sedanDeja vu all over again as unofficial images of the Mazda3 sedan hit the web4 Jul 2013 By BARRY PARK MAZDA has had its thunder stolen for the second time in less than a month with official-looking images of its Mazda3 sedan leaking online ahead of the car’s reveal. A Russian website has once again posted unreleased images of the boot-clad, third-generation Mazda3 alongside its hatchback sibling showing a design that looks faithful to the all-new hatchback revealed internationally – and in Australia – only last week. The sedan looks almost identical to the hatch all the way back to the tip of the rear doors, although for the more practical version it ends in a high-decked, stumpy boot lid. Rear styling also mimics the five-door version, with the horizontal slash of CX5-inspired tail-lights that wrap around the muscular-looking rear quarters. The all-new Mazda3 now fully adopts the next generation of the car-maker’s advanced SkyActiv architecture and technology that save fuel and add to driveability. The new Mazda3 range is due in Australia early next year.
