Future models - Lamborghini - Concept SFirst look: Lambo lifts Gallardo's lidScreenless: Concept S dispenses with traditional windscreen. House of the Raging Bull presents Gallardo-based Concept S at Geneva show9 Mar 2005 By TERRY MARTIN SUPERCAR brand Lamborghini presented a new two-seater "open car" design study at the Geneva motor show. Based on the Gallardo, designer Luc Donckerwolke drew inspiration from historic single-seater racing cars like the 350 GTS and Miura Roadster to create the Concept S. Interesting elements include a "sauté-vent" (taken from the French term meaning "sudden change of wind") that directs air over the driver’s head and negates the need for a traditional windscreen. The cabin is divided into two distinct compartments, with in addition to the airflow advantages has also enabled the inclusion of an additional air inlet for the engine positioned behind the seats. ![]() While the House of the Raging Bull says its has no plans to put Concept S into production, the Geneva show car will remain Lamborghini's unique expression of an open-cockpit vehicle.
