BMW to sprinkle some M magic across its 3 Coupe range6 Aug 2007 BMW Australia is preparing to offer a taste of M Sport style and performance for 3 Series Coupe buyers who do not want to go all the way up to the awesome M3 Coupe. Due for release in November, the German brand’s latest M Sports Package will combine an asymmetrical 18-inch wheel and tyre combination – 8J x 18 alloys with 225/40 R18 tyres at the front, and 8.5J x 18 wheels with 255/35 R18 tyres at the rear – with a sports suspension that lowers the car by 15mm. As well as the different wheels and slightly lowered suspension, Coupes fitted with the M Sports Package are identified by BMW Individual high-gloss ‘Shadow Line’ paint and an M aero kit that includes larger air intakes at the front, specific side skirts and a different rear bumper. Inside, the M Sports Package includes more supportive sports seats, leather steering wheel, shift lever and handbrake grip, alloy-look trim and anthracite headliner material. While an M3 will set you back $140,000, pricing for the M Sports Package ranges from $6200 (on top of the base price of $70,200) for a 323i Coupe, $4700 for the 325i (base price $81,900) and $2600 for the mighty twin-turbo 335i, which has a base price of $108,900. 3 Series pricing
