Aston Martin Vanquish 25 marks quarter century

ASTON MARTIN has marked 25 years since the debut of its original Vanquish with a limited-edition version of its current V12 flagship, restricted to 50 examples worldwide.

Created by the British marque’s Q by Aston Martin personalisation division, the Vanquish 25 will be offered as either a Coupe or Volante, with production divided evenly between the two body styles.

Just 25 examples of each will be produced, with customers able to choose between two-seat and 2+2 seating configurations.

The anniversary model draws inspiration from the first-generation Vanquish unveiled at the 2001 Geneva Motor Show, combining details from the original model with newer materials, finishes, and handcrafting techniques.

Aston Martin said the resulting package was intended to celebrate all three generations of the front-engined V12 grand tourer without departing significantly from the design of the current model.

Exterior changes include exclusive Q Skye Silver paintwork, metal-foil detailing along the side sills and shield vanes, bespoke Aston Martin script graphics and stainless-steel side strakes.

The model also receives a Q Commission exhaust finisher, unique Vanquish 25 badging and a subtle V-shaped accent incorporated into its 21-inch forged alloy wheels.

Inside, the anniversary edition features unique perforation patterns and trim divisions, embroidered Vanquish 25 logos on the seatbacks and laser-etched Aston Martin trim inlays.

A bright-red engine start-stop button is positioned in the centre console and surrounded by a bespoke rotary-controller design, while a black Alcantara headlining is fitted as standard.

Customers may select from Onyx Black, Oxford Tan, or Phantom Grey interior colour schemes.

The Vanquish 25 retains the mechanical package of the third generation Vanquish introduced in 2024, including its twin-turbocharged 5.2-litre V12 engine.

Outputs of 614kW and 1000Nm make the latest Vanquish the most powerful series-production front-engined model Aston Martin has produced.

The V12 drives the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission, helping the Vanquish accelerate from 0-100km/h in approximately 3.3 seconds and reach a claimed top speed of 344km/h.

Its underpinnings include a bespoke chassis, carbon-fibre bodywork and electronically controlled dynamics systems developed specifically for Aston Martin’s range-topping sports car.

The original Vanquish established the template for Aston Martin’s modern front-engine flagship when it entered production in 2001.

It was followed by a second-generation model in 2012, before the nameplate was retired in 2018 and revived for the current-generation car six years later.

Aston Martin head of Q Vittorio Gabba said the anniversary model recognised the importance of Vanquish to the company’s recent history.

“Anyone familiar with this iconic British brand knows the provenance of the name Vanquish in our modern history,” he said.

“Twenty-five years on from the unveiling of the very first Vanquish, it is only right that we mark this nameplate’s contribution to our heritage.

“Vanquish 25 builds on the extraordinary achievements of the modern, third generation Vanquish with a carefully curated package of exterior and interior features that subtly celebrate this important milestone in our history.”

The Aston Martin Vanquish 25 will make its public debut at Monterey Car Week in California, which runs from August 10 to 16.

First customer deliveries are scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026.
