It produces 79kW at 5750 rpm and 148Nm at 3750 rpm. To assist efficiency, the engine's plenum volume and inlet length have been optimised to achieve flexibility and torque at low speed without compromising high-speed cylinder filling. The result is that it produces 90 per cent of its torque between 2500rpm and 5500rpm.
