Super TestCar reviews - Kia - Spectra - LS 5-dr hatchKia modelsLuggage4 Sep 2001 ACCESS to the luggage compartment is made via a lever alongside the driver's seat or using the key at the rear hatch. There is no rear doorhandle for easy access from outside the car. The boot isn't lined but there is a floor mat, under which a full-size spare can be found. Four plastic points enable a cargo net to be used, while two hooks are provided for shopping bags. Child seat anchorage points are located at the hatch end, meaning luggage space will be restricted when in use. The liftback style also means height from floor to luggage cover is just 500mm. A 60/40 split-fold rear seatback aids with cargo stowage, though the seatbase does not fold to provide a flat floor right through to the front seats. Folding the rear seat increases the floor length from 960mm to about 1800mm, depending on the front seat position.
