Known as the Family II engine, it produces 90 per cent of torque between 2000rpm and 5600rpm. Independent acceleration figures put the GL (automatic transmission) ahead of its closest rivals, with a 0-100km/h time of 10.0 seconds and 0-400m in 17.5. It runs on 91 or 95 RON ULP.
