The ute's braking system features an all-new load sensing brake proportioning valve that was specially designed and calibrated to suit the independent rear suspension. An optional three-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS) is available. When wheel speed sensors detect lock-up, brake cylinder pressure is adjusted at each front wheel and on the rear pair to prevent wheel lockup.
