Super TestCar reviews - Daihatsu - Terios - SX 5-dr wagonDaihatsu modelsSecurity16 Jan 2001 SECURITY is not exactly a Terios strongpoint, with it rating poorly in independent security ratings such as those provided by the NRMA. No engine immobiliser is provided, though that will change soon when all manufacturers and importers are required to have one installed. The SX model has central door locking. Did you know?A personal security rating system devised by the NRMA considers a number of protection features including: Two-stage unlocking interior light on when ignition off/when door unlocked lights flash with door unlock timed dimmer when headlights left on and ignition off panic alert passive/active deadlocking. The Terios scored zero on all counts. By comparison, Kia's Sportage scored zero, Honda's CR-V two and Land Rover's Freelander four. All car reviewsAlfa Romeo Abarth Alpine Alpina Audi Aston Martin BMW Bentley Chevrolet Chery Citroen Chrysler Dodge Cupra Ferrari DS Ford Fiat FPV Foton GWM Great Wall Holden Haval HSV Honda Hyundai Hummer Isuzu Infiniti Jeep Jaguar Lamborghini Kia LDV Land Rover Lotus Lexus Maserati Mahindra McLaren Mazda Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-AMG Mini MG Nissan Mitsubishi Peugeot Opel Proton Porsche Renault Ram Rover Rolls-Royce Skoda Saab SsangYong Smart Suzuki Subaru Toyota Tesla Volvo Volkswagen |
