The Italian-built Cabriolet benefited from many of the regular 306’s improvements and also received the 100kW twin-cam 16-valve 2.0 unit from the N5 XSi.
There was sportier suspension, new seats and more standard features, while front passenger and front-side airbags and leather trim arrived with a raft of mid-life upgrades to the whole N5 range in August ’99.
Further trim changes marked the NB 306 Cabriolet in March ’02.
