Holden introduced a mid-to-late-life update for its Barina light car in late-2016, bringing with it a fresh new face that was designed by the team at GM Australia Design in Port Melbourne.
As well as the new front end the Barina was treated to an interior update, with the motorbike-style instrument cluster gone, replaced by a more familiar look.
There were no changes under the skin, with Holden choosing to carry over the 1.6-litre four-pot petrol unit that delivered 85kW and 155Nm.
New additions included Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while a reversing camera and rear parking sensors were offered as standard across the range.
