The rear suspension remained unchanged for VX but up front the lower control arm pivot was raised 4mm to build in more understeer and reduce directness off-centre. The stabiliser to strut link is changed to a ball joint, which Holden claims makes the vehicle easier to control in sudden manoeuvres.
